Pinoy Lechon sa Air Fryer, Lechon sa Oven Inasal Style

Today I am sharing my Pinoy Lechon sa Air Fryer, Lechon sa Oven Inasal Style.

The recipe is based on original recipe from Overseas Pinoy Cooking  

Ingredients:

1 to 2 kilos pork belly, cut into slabs
rock salt
white vinegar
Pressure boiling the pork belly ingredients:
2-3 tbsp. salt
1-2 tbsp. black peppercorns
2-3 bay leaves
1-2 star anise
1/2 head garlic, crushed
1 medium onion, quartered
1 stalk lemongrass, crushed, tie into a knot

Herb Bed Ingredients:

1 large stalk lemongrass, chopped
2 thumb size ginger, julienne
1 medium size onion, chopped
1/2 head garlic, chopped
1 bunch kinchay or parsley, trimmed
1 bunch spring onion, chopped

Soy-Vinegar Dip Ingredients:

1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup white vinegar
1/2 head garlic, crushed
1 small onion, chopped
1 long green chili, sliced
1 red chili, sliced
1-2 tbsp. brown sugar

Air Frying Procedure:

Airs fry the pork belly for a total time of 30 minutes:
@ 180 Deg. C for the first 15 to 20 minutes
@ 200 Deg. C for the last 10 minutes
Check if it is cooking evenly after 5 minutes
After another 5 minutes, add in about 1/3 to 1/2  cup of water to the baking dish
During the final 5 minutes check if it is browning to quickly, reduce temperature if required
