CREAMY WHITE CHICKEN CALDERETA w/ WATER  CHESTNUT KALDERETANG BATANGAS STYLE Today I am sharing my CREAMY WHITE CHICKEN CALDERETA. I cooked it KALDERETA BATANGAS STYLE. Instead of using tomato sauce I used canned evaporated milk and all-purpose cream. Similar to Batangas Kaldereta, I used a lot of garlic and onions. I have also added a lot of other ingredients. Special Chicken Kaldereta

Special Chicken Kaldereta is my second post of the chicken version of kaldereta. Similar to my special pork kaldereta I also have added a couple or so ingredients like some, a small can of pineapple slices cut to pieces, added the syrup to the stewing broth. Added some slices of sweet pickled dill or cucumber in addition to the sweet pickled relish. Some pitted green olives and some peanut butter was also used. This Special Chicken Kaldereta was also made from scratch, instead of using liver spread I used chicken liver. Similar to my special pork kaldereta the chicken liver was first boiled until it become firm, then mashed smooth, pestle and mortar may be used if required to attain a smooth liver paste. The liver paste was then sautéed with the garlic and onion. Kalderetang Manok, Chicken Kaldereta . Kaldereta is not the usual way of cooking chicken, Pinoy chicken stews are normally cooked a dobo, afritada or pininyahan . Of course chicken can also be cooked as kaldereta and it is equally tangy delicious if done right. On my chicken kaldereta I used chicken wings, I find chicken wings the tastiest part and it’s ideal for my version of kaldereta. Other choice chicken parts can also be use or use the whole chicken. I used Mama Sita kaldereta mix , I always use this ready mixes, it made cooking trouble-free and has benefited most of us, the Overseas Pinoys and those of us who don’t have the luxury of time. Never the less the dish came out excellent, here is how I cooked it.
