  1. I stumbled upon your site while looking for a recipe to use the abundant talbos ng kalabasa in my garden. Last year during my vacation in the Philippines I bought some kalabasa seeds to plant where I live in the US but I think its either I planted it too late(June) or it was a cooler summer this year that the plant bloomed too late (almost September) and although fruit have developed the cooler weather prevented it from getting big. But the foliage grew like a weed so I thought I should cook it somehow. I had some blossoms stirfryed too already (sort of guinisa). Growing up in Bicol, I remembered my mother cooking ginataang talbos at bulaklak ng kalabasa but it's been a long time I am not too confident at what I plan to do. Now I should try your recipe. Thanks.

  2. Guinataan would be nice as well, try them with guinataang alimasag or hipon.
