Today buko fruit salad come in many forms, there is an ice candy version, an ice cream version, a refreshing drink version and other sweet food and dessert with buko fruit salad as the main ingredients.

Buko Pandan Salad


Today’s Buko Fruit Salad post is made up of fresh buko meat strings or strips and a medleys of canned, bottled fruits and sweet Pinoy goodies. Making Buko Fruit Salad is straight forward, there is no hard rules to the ingredients quantity and type. The ingredients could be on any combination of canned and bottled sweet Pinoy goodies like kaong, nata de coco, pineapple, corn kernel and any sweet fruit preserved. However it must have the two of the main ingredients, the buko meat and the fruit cocktail.


Making the Buko Fruit Salad is as easy as 1-2-3, add all the ingredients mixed all together with varying the quantities of each ingredients. Ingredients will definitely defends on what is available at the pantry at the time of cooking. The sweetness is all about personal choice. Some like their buko salad sweet and some like it extremely sweet. In the end the Buko Fruit Salad recipe is just a guide.

Ingredients:

1 kilo buko meat strips
1 medium can fruit cocktail, drained
2 small cans whole corn kernels, rinsed, drained
2 medium bottle red and white kaong, rinsed, drained
2 medium bottle orange and white nata de coco, rinsed, drained
1 small can crushed pineapple, drained
1 block cheddar cheese, cut into samall cubes
2 small cans nestle cream
1 medium can condense milk
